The River Forest Service Club and River Forest Park District are proud to present the 2010 River Forest Memorial Day Parade and Community Picnic
on Monday, May 31st, with the parade starting at 11:30am.
Last year, over 100 entries participated in the parade, with thousands of residents lining the route, making this day one of the highlights
of the year in the Village of River Forest. This event is entirely supported by community contributions.
An $18,000 annual budget for this event supports the expenses incurred to host the parade (marching bands, entertainment, marketing),
the community picnic (food and beverage), and the memorial ceremony (stage and PA system).
Sponsorship Opportunities
The Memorial Day Parade offers a number of sponsorship opportunities to fit your business marketing budget.
Each sponsor level carries a number of unique benefits that will provide your business maximum exposure for name recognition and will enhance
your corporate image.
Platinum Sponsor: $2,500
- Your business name and logo prominently displayed on all parade promotion materials, including the River Forest Park District 2010 summer brochure, newspaper advertisements, and the Memorial Day Parade material. 4,500 summer brochures will be distributed to the residents of River Forest and neighboring communities.
- Your business name and logo prominently displayed on a sponsor banner displayed at the parade.
- Your business name and logo will prominently appear on the Memorial Day Parade page of the River Forest Park District and River Forest Service Club websites.
- Entry admission into the parade. Parade number in the first ten.
- Business/Organization name listed as an entry in the parade program.
Gold Sponsor: $1,500
- Your business name and logo displayed on all parade promotion materials, including the River Forest Park District 2010 summer brochure, newspaper advertisements, and the Memorial Day Parade material. 4,500 summer brochures will be distributed to the residents of River Forest and neighboring communities.
- Your business name and logo displayed on a sponsor banner displayed at the parade.
- Your business name and logo will appear on the Memorial Day Parade page of the River Forest Park District and River Forest Service Club websites.
- Entry admission into the parade. Parade number in the first twenty.
- Business/Organization name listed as an entry in the parade program.
Silver Sponsor: $1,000
- Your business name and logo displayed on all parade promotion materials, including the River Forest Park District 2010 summer brochure, newspaper advertisements, and the Memorial Day Parade material. 4,500 summer brochures will be distributed to the residents of River Forest and neighboring communities.
- Your business name and logo displayed on a sponsor banner displayed at the parade.
- Your business name and logo will appear on the Memorial Day Parade page of the River Forest Park District and River Forest Service Club websites.
- Entry admission into the parade. Parade number in the first fifty.
- Business/Organization name listed as an entry in the parade program.
Bronze Sponsor: $500
- Your business name displayed on all parade promotion materials, including the River Forest Park District 2010 summer brochure, newspaper advertisements, and the Memorial Day Parade promotional material. 4,500 summer brochures will be distributed to the residents of River Forest and neighboring communities.
- Your business name displayed on a sponsor banner displayed at the parade.
- Your business name will appear on the Memorial Day Parade page of the River Forest Park District and River Forest Service Club websites.
- Entry admission into the parade. Parade number to be determined by Parade Director.
- Business/Organization name listed as an entry in the parade program.
Parade Entry: $100
- Entry admission into the parade. Parade number to be determined by Parade Director.

River Forest Community Group Entry: Free:
- Parade Director approval is required for River Forest Community Group status.
